DAMAGE PROTECTION POLICY Last Updated: February 26, 2026 At Signature Shine, we treat your home and your possessions with the highest level of respect. While we are “100% Worry-Free” and fully insured, accidents can occasionally happen. This policy explains how we handle those situations to protect both your home and our team. 1. OUR PROTECTION PROMISE We are a premium service provider. We are Fully Bonded and Insured to ensure that your property and valuables are protected while we are in your home. 2. REPORTING DAMAGE If you notice any damage that occurred during a cleaning, you must report it to us within 24 hours of the service. How to Report: Please call (763) 222-8292 or email bookings@signatureshinemn.com. Requirement: We require photos of the damage to begin a claim. This helps us understand what happened and how to fix it quickly. 3. HOW WE FIX IT If we are responsible for damage, we will make it right in one of the following ways: Repair: We will hire a professional to fix the item. Replace: We will replace the item with one of similar value. Credit: We may offer a credit toward future services. 4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED To protect our business, we cannot be held liable for: Pre-existing Damage: Scratches, stains, or breaks that were there before we arrived. Normal Wear and Tear: Items that break during normal use because they are old or worn out (such as old blinds or light fixtures). Improper Installation: We are not responsible for items not properly secured, such as loose shelving, mirrors not hung correctly, or “wobbly” furniture. Unsealed Surfaces: Damage to stone (like marble or granite) or wood floors that were not properly sealed or maintained by the homeowner. 5. VALUABLES AND TRINKETS We ask that you put away or notify us of any “irreplaceable” items (such as family heirlooms or expensive jewelry) before we arrive. While we are careful, we prefer not to handle items that cannot be replaced. 6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Signature Shine carries a comprehensive liability policy. Our total liability for any single claim is limited to our insurance coverage limits or the total cost of the service provided, whichever is less. 7. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY Last Updated: February 26, 2026 At Signature Shine, we treat every appointment as a promise. Because we employ a full-time, dedicated staff rather than random contractors, we rely on a consistent schedule to provide the best service in the Twin Cities. 1. OUR “NO-CANCEL” PROMISE We respect your time. We have a strict internal policy to ensure we never cancel on you last minute. When you book with us, we guarantee our arrival so you can plan your day with total peace of mind. 2. CLIENT CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING We understand that life happens and plans change. To help us manage our team’s schedule, we ask for the following: 24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. This fee helps us compensate our professional cleaners for the lost time in their workday. 3. LOCK-OUT POLICY Our team needs a way to enter your home at the scheduled time (via key, code, or someone being present). If our team arrives and cannot access the home, we will wait for 15 minutes while attempting to contact you. If we still cannot gain access, the appointment will be considered a “Lock-out” and may result in a full or partial service fee to cover labor and travel costs. 4. REFUND POLICY Our goal is to provide a perfect clean every time. Because cleaning is a personalized service, we do not offer standard cash refunds. Instead, we offer a 24-Hour Happiness Guarantee: The Fix: If you are not thrilled with any area of your home, notify us within 24 hours. The Resolution: We will return and fix the specific area for free until it meets our high standards. TERMS OF SERVICE Last Updated: February 26, 2026 By booking a service with Signature Shine, you (the “Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms form a binding legal agreement between the Client and Signature Shine. 1. THE SIGNATURE PROMISE We stand by our work. If you are not satisfied with any area of your home, you must notify us within 24 hours. We will return to re-clean the area for free. 2. PROFESSIONAL STAFFING We do not use random contractors or gig-workers. All services are performed by vetted, background-checked, and trained employees of Signature Shine. 3. ACCESS AND SAFETY Home Access: The Client must provide a way for our team to enter the home (key, code, or being present). If we cannot enter, a “lock-out” fee may apply. Pet Policy: We love pets, but for the safety of our team and your animals, please ensure they are secured or comfortable with strangers. Safety: For the safety of our employees, we do not move furniture over 35 lbs or clean biohazards (including animal or human waste). 4. PRICING AND PAYMENT Estimates: Final price is subject to change if the home’s condition is different than described. Payments: Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon. CANCELLATION AND ARRIVAL Our Commitment: We provide a Guaranteed Arrival. We treat your appointment as a promise and do not cancel on you. LIABILITY AND DAMAGE Insurance: Signature Shine is fully bonded and carries comprehensive liability insurance. Claims: While we treat your home with total respect, accidents can happen. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours. We are not liable for damage caused by “normal wear and tear” or improperly installed items (like loose shelves or pictures). Limitation: Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount of insurance coverage we carry or the total cost of the service provided, whichever is less. 7. NON-SOLICITATION OF EMPLOYEES The Client agrees not to hire any current or past Signature Shine employee for private cleaning services outside of our company for a period of one year after the employee leaves our firm. 8. GOVERNING LAW This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any legal disputes will be handled in the courts located in the Twin Cities metro area. 9.
