DAMAGE PROTECTION POLICY

At Signature Shine, we treat your home and your possessions with the highest level of respect. While we are “100% Worry-Free” and fully insured, accidents can occasionally happen. This policy explains how we handle those situations to protect both your home and our team.

1. OUR PROTECTION PROMISE

We are a premium service provider. We are Fully Bonded and Insured to ensure that your property and valuables are protected while we are in your home.

2. REPORTING DAMAGE

If you notice any damage that occurred during a cleaning, you must report it to us within 24 hours of the service.

  • How to Report: Please call (763) 222-8292 or email bookings@signatureshinemn.com.

  • Requirement: We require photos of the damage to begin a claim. This helps us understand what happened and how to fix it quickly.

3. HOW WE FIX IT

If we are responsible for damage, we will make it right in one of the following ways:

  1. Repair: We will hire a professional to fix the item.

  2. Replace: We will replace the item with one of similar value.

  3. Credit: We may offer a credit toward future services.

4. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

To protect our business, we cannot be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing Damage: Scratches, stains, or breaks that were there before we arrived.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Items that break during normal use because they are old or worn out (such as old blinds or light fixtures).

  • Improper Installation: We are not responsible for items not properly secured, such as loose shelving, mirrors not hung correctly, or “wobbly” furniture.

  • Unsealed Surfaces: Damage to stone (like marble or granite) or wood floors that were not properly sealed or maintained by the homeowner.

5. VALUABLES AND TRINKETS

We ask that you put away or notify us of any “irreplaceable” items (such as family heirlooms or expensive jewelry) before we arrive. While we are careful, we prefer not to handle items that cannot be replaced.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Signature Shine carries a comprehensive liability policy. Our total liability for any single claim is limited to our insurance coverage limits or the total cost of the service provided, whichever is less.
